It’s official: the 2018 Nutty Tilez was a cracker! Over 8,500 students from across the globe took part and we are delighted to now be able to announce the winners.
1. Jazmin T, Logan Park High School
“I had a lot of fun participating in the Nutty Tilez competition, the game is so engaging it becomes hard to stop playing, and it makes learning French vocab so simple. I think playing Nutty Tilez (and using thisislanguage in general) has really helped to improve my French, especially when I use it regularly. The contest didn’t require any preparation, I decided to give it a go – not thinking I would get very far – and found myself really enjoying it and moving quickly. Each level became harder and required more concentration, but the satisfaction of beating “Demon Dante” made it worth it.”

1. Brendan F, Ashburton College
“I practised some of the vocab ahead of the competition. The competition has definitely helped with my German. It’s actually fun!“
